markerznyc: Tyshawn Jones, also known as both “Ty Flow” and “Fly By Night” was born and raised on the rough side Brooklyn, New York. Ty grew up in the no nonsense Brevoort Housing Project. The well-known artist “Fabolous” also grew up in this same housing project where Ty found himself fighting many battles. These battles continued when he moved to E91st street in flatbush. Some of those battles were no doubt due to growing up in a family of Shinnecock Indians, as Ty says “that warrior blood is in our veins, not only does the deep pulses of the drums beat through me to produce my music, but I’m also a focused boxer and Yea I’ll Knock you Da F*ck Out! Wassup! “LoL Ty currently lives In Newark, NJ , Another Rough City, a fish out of water but he still rep’d with his team Fresh Goon Squad, with BIG dreams of finding their way out the “hood”! Ty has found the way and that’s through careful application of his innate talent and natural hunger for success in the Hip Hop Game. One of Ty’s biggest influences was his cousin Old Dirty Bastard (ODB). He was the only person that made it “BIG” that he got to see.” He was my flesh and blood that defied all the odds and got to live out his dream. He inspired me to know that anyone can do anything they set their mind to”. Ty took these same lessons and applied it to the world of boxing where at the young age of 16 he was ranked #1 in Junior Olympicl Boxing.
